BR 65 H0 N XL L M4

The BR 65 had been a completely new design of DB in 1951. The two cylinder loco had a maximum speed of 85 km/h and showed an excellent acceleration and tractive power. The BR 65 had been used for passenger trains in rolling country.

BR 18.4 / Bayr. S3/6 H0 N XL L M4

Bavarian fast train four-cylinder steam locomotive S 3/6 was produce in 15 series between 1908 and 1931. The locos developed 1770 HP and reached a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The locos were famous for pulling international luxury trains like “Rheingold” or “Wien-Oostende-Express”.

BR 82 H0 N XL L M4

The DB Class 82 was a goods train tank locomotive with the Deutsche Bundesbahn in Germany, that was built in the period after the Second World War and was intended for shunting and normal rail services. The engines were predominantly employed in the marshalling yards at Bremen and Hamm as well as on the harbour lines of Emden and Hamburg. The 82s could also be seen on normal railway duties on the steep inclines of the Westerwald and in the Black Forest on the Murg Valley Railway.

E94 H0 N XL L M4

In the late 1930s the German DRG wanted to increase the weight of freight trains. Therefor six axle E94 had been developed. During WWII 146 samples were built. The DB Class 202, also commonly referred to under its manufacturers' designation Henschel-BBC DE2500, since it was only in experimental use and never purchased by the DB, is a class of diesel-electric locomotives designed for use on main and secondary lines for both passenger and freight trains.

BR 442 / Talent 2 H0 N XL L M4

In 2008 Talbot started delivery of electric regional railcar Talent 2 (numbered as BR 442). The manufacturer offers the railcars in different length up to a maximum tractive power of 4040 kW of a six-car unit. In any composite configuration each of the 325 railcars is able to reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h.

VT11.5 Gasturbine (BR602) H0 N XL L M4

In 1971 German State Railway DB decided to improve acceleration of its diesel railcar units 601 by replacing diesel prime movers with Avco Lycoming TF 35 gas turbines. The four head end motor cars now deliver 1620 kW each and enable the 11-car train to reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h. ADtranz DE AC33C Blue-Tiger H0 N XL L M4

With diesel-electric Blue Tiger DE-AC 33C German ADtranz entered the market of heavy freight diesel locos in 1996. After delivery of 30 samples for Pakistan and 20 for Malaysia another 10 were ship to some private railroads in Germany. The prime mover GE 7FDL 12 EFI delivers 2460 kW at 1050 rpm and produces the energy for the six traction motors GE GEB 15. The loco reaches a maximum speed of 120 km/h.

V90 (MTU-12V-652) H0 N XL L M4

In the 1960s the German State Railway (DB) replaced old fashioned steam locos in heavy shunting service. The total new dieselhydraulic V90 is driven by a 12 cyl engine MTU MB 12 V 652 TA that delivers 1100 HP at 1400 rpm. The locos have a maximum speed of 80 km/h. In the 1980s DB installed shunting couplers and a radio control in the now called BR 290 and renumbered them in BR 294. Many of the very dependable locos are still in service.

MaK DE 1002 (MTU-12V-396) H0 N XL L M4

Diesel electric loco DE 1002 of German manufacturer MaK is a reliable design for medium freight service of private owners. The 12-cylinder diesel prime mover develops 1120 or 1320 kW at 1800 rpm and enables the DE 1002 to reach a maximum speed of 90 km/h. The 24 locos are delivered between 1982 and 1988.
