NMBS Type 120 / HLE 28 H0 N XL L M4

In 1949 Belgian State Railways SNCB received three samples of four axle electrics 120.01-03. In 1971 the locos were numbered for 2001-2003, in 1976 numbers changed to 2801-2803. The locos developed 1985 kW and reached a maximum speed of 130 km/h.

SBB Ee 3/3 H0 N XL L M4

Between 1928 and 1956 the Swiss State Railway (SBB) had received 106 samples of side rod equippes electric shunting locomotives of Class Ee 3/3. The different series differ externally very much, but drivetrain is quite close. The tree axle locomotives reach a maximum speed of 40 (1st series) and 50 km/h (5th series ).

E17 / BR117 H0 N XL L M4

In 1928 German Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG) received 38 samples of electric 2-8-2 loco E17. The eight motor locos reached a maximum speed of 120 km/h and were used by DB untill 1980. DR scrapped the final two locos in 1968.

SNCF BB22000 H0 N XL L M4

For traction of fast passenger trains under 1,5 kV DC and 25 kV AC system French State Railway SNCF ordered 205 samples of four axle BB 22000. The locos develop 4140 kW and reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h.

SNCF Z27500 H0 N XL L M4

French electric railcars Z 27500 debuted in 2005. French State Railway SNCF ordered 211 samples of 1300 kW railcars in three or four car units. The units reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h.

SNCF BB15000 H0 N XL L M4

Between 1971 and 1978 French State Railway SNCF ordered 56 samples of electric loco BB 15000 for traction of fast passenger trains. The four axle loco develop 4400 kW and reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h.

SNCF CC40100 H0 N XL L M4

For cross border passenger service French State Railway SNCF had ordered ten units of six axle electric loco CC 70100. The locos had delivered 3670 kW (CC 40101-40104) or 4480 kW (CC 40105-40110). Frist series locos reached a maximum speed of 240 km/h, the second series reached only 220 km/h for better tractive power.

SNCF BB 27000 H0 N XL L M4

For main line freight train service French State Railway SNCF received 180 samples of four axle electric BB 27000 between 2002 and 2006. The four motor locos deliver 4200 kW and reach a maximum speed of 140 km/h.

E32 H0 N XL L M4

In 1924 German Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft DRG received the first sample of side rod equipped electric loco E32. The 29 locos developed 1170 kW and reached a maximum speed of 75 km/h. In the 1930s eight locos were re-geared for a maximum speed of 90 km/h. In 1971 the last remaining locos quitted service at the DB.

ET91/BR491 Glaeserner Zug H0 N XL L M4

For tourist travel the DRG ordered in 1935 two electric four axle railcars numbered elT 1998 (later numbered ET 91 01) and elT 1999. Most of its electrical equipment the railcars shared with older ET 25. After a change of gearing the railcars reached a maximum speed of 110 km/h (before 120 km/h). One of the two cars survived Second World War and had come to DB. Till the 1990s DB used the railcar (491 001) for tourist travels. After a crash in 1995 DB did not repair the car but gave it to a more…
