BR 05 003  LokSound V4.0 & LokPilot V4.0 for Factory Equipped Locomotives N XL L M4

In 1935 German manufacturer Borsig had delivered 4-6-4 steam locos 05 001 and 002 for Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft DRG for fast passenger service. 05 003 had been delivered in 1937 with cab forward design. After WW II DB rebuilt the locos without streamline body and used them till 1958.

BR 185.2 MS  LokSound V4.0 & LokPilot V4.0 for Factory Equipped Locomotives N XL L M4

For medium freight service Bombardier Transportation of Germany developed a four-axle electric loco BR 185.2. The sound of the second-generation Traxx-locos is slightly different of the first series because of electrical equipment. The locos develop 5600 kW (multi-current locos develop 4000 kW under DC catenary) and reach a maximum speed of 140 km/h.

BR 78 / pr. T18  LokSound 5 factory equipped sounds N XL L M4

In 1912 Prussian State Railway ordered the first of 462 samples of the 4-6-4 saddle tank loco T18. The two-cylinder loco developed 1140 HP and reached a maximum speed of 100 km/h. The locos were used for passenger trains on main and branch lines and stayed in service until 1974.

BR 216 / V160  LokSound 5 factory equipped sounds N XL L M4

After nine pre-series locomotives of the diesel-hydraulic series V160 with a complex round front (nicknamed Lollo, after the Italian film actress Gina Lollobrigida), in 1963 Henschel produced the last pre-series locomotive with an angular front, similar to that of the six-axle V320. Common to all pre-series locomotives was the 16-cylinder Maybach MD 870 diesel engine (later renamed MTU 16V 538 TB). The locomotives, equipped with steam heating, developed 1,900 hp and reached a top speed of 120 more…
