In 2010, a new era started with the year´s summer timetable among RhB´s rolling stock: the first 15 copies of the three-part “Allegra” dual-voltage railcars, ordered from Stadler, replaced some of the locomotives which had seen better days.

The Pennsylvania Railroad DD1 was a class of boxcab electric locomotives built by the Pennsylvania Railroad. The locomotives were developed as part of the railroad's New York Tunnel Extension, which built the original Pennsylvania Station in New York City and linked it to New Jersey via the North River Tunnels. In 1959 German Deutsche Reichsbahn of GDR re-designed 1st of 208 samples of 2-10-0 two-cylinder steam loco BR 50. The Reko-50.35 loco developed 1760 HP and reached a maximum speed of 80 km/h. 50 samples were equipped with oil firing. With its axle load of just 15,4 tons the locos were used even on branch lines with light weight rails. Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft DRG ordered 32 samples of electric railcar ET 85 in 1927. The four-axle units develop 500 kW and reach a maximum speed of 75 km/h (ET 85 05 and 09 enabled for 100 km/h).
