PKP EU07/EP07  LokSound V4.0 European Soundfiles H0 N XL L M4

In 1965 the polish Pafawag built English Electric design Class 83 in license as classified by the Polish State Railway (PKP) as EU07. Between 1965 and 1994 total 489 samples devided into two externally slightly different series left the factory. The four motor four axle locos (traction motor type EE541) deliver 2080 kW and reach a maximum speed of 125 km/h (with different gearing 140 km/h). Some locos are still in use at PKP.

Nach fünf Vorserienloks bestellten die Italienischen Staatsbahnen FS zwischen 1933 und 1935 insgesamt 268 Exemplare der sechsachsigen Ellok E626 in mehreren Serien. Jeweils zwei Achsen waren in einem Gestell zusammen gefasst. Die beiden Endgestelle waren drehbar, das mittlere starr gelagert. Die sechs Fahrmotoren des FS-Typs 32.200 leisteten zusammen 2100 kW, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit der Lok betrug 95 km/h.

In the late 1930s the German DRG wanted to increase the weight of freight trains. Therefor six axle E94 had been developed. During WWII 146 samples were built. The six motor locos develop 3300 kW and reach a maximum speed of 90 km/h. After the war 44 locos were overtaken by Austrian Railway OEBB, another 23 were refitted by DR of German Democratic Republic of Germany. BR243DR / BR143  LokSound V4.0 European Soundfiles H0 N XL L M4

In the late 1970s DR in German Democratic Republic ordered an multi-purpose electric loco. 646 units were produced. The four motor BR 243 (renumbered for BR 143 in 1994) reaches a maximum speed of 120 km/h. In Western Germany 143 successfully replaced worn out electrics BR 140/141 and 110 in commuter service.

SBB Re 4/4 II  LokSound V4.0 European Soundfiles H0 N XL L M4

During 21 years Swiss State Railway SBB ordered 276 samples of four axle electric loco Re 4/4 II. The four motor units develop 4700 kW and reach a maximum speed of 140 or 125 km/h depending on gearing. During the 1990 the locos were renumber for Re 420 and Re 421.
