New Orleans' St. Charles Streetcar Line is the world's oldest continuously operated electric railway line. Electric operation began in 1893, when streetcars took over after 20 years of horsecar operation. In 1922, operation of all New Orleans streetcar lines was taken over by New Orleans Public Service Inc., or NOPSI for short. In 1923, the current streetcars, designed and built by the Perley Thomas Car Company of High Point, North Carolina, were introduced. In 1973, the St. Charles Line and the remaining fleet of 35 Perley Thomas cars received national recognition when they were named to the National Register of Historic Places.
Many of these cars are still in use today!
This ESU Sound file is set up for the Bowser HO Cars but it can be used in similar cars in any scale.
This car has directional gong bells and operates much like the Original car it was recorded from. Beschreibung ausblenden mehr…

AEM-7/ALP-44
The AEM-7 is a twin-cab four-axle 7,000 hp (5.2 MW) B-B electric locomotive built by Electro-Motive Division (EMD) and ASEA between 1978–1988. The locomotive was a derivative of the Swedish SJ Rc4 designed for passenger service in the United States. The primary customer was Amtrak, which bought 54 for use on the Northeast Corridor and Keystone Corridor. Two commuter operators, MARC and SEPTA, also purchased locomotives.
As this is a double ended Electric Locomotive with MANY lights on both ends, this file has been set up with some function mapping that is non standard to the ESU defaults. Please check this mapping before doing any wiring. This mapping will work with the NEWEST run of Atlas AEM-7s with a 21MTC plug from the factory. These locos will be released fall of 2017.

The Iconic GG-1 is known around the world as the American Electric Streamliner. Built by GE and the famous Pennsylvania Railroad Altoona Shops the GG-1s were constructed between 1934 to 1943.
