RhB Xe 4/4 23201  LokSound V4.0 & LokPilot V4.0 for Factory Equipped Locomotives N XL L M4

In 2012 swiss Rhetian Railway RhB re-designed two of their electric railcars ABe 4/4 II for service railcars with repair shop interior. The two cars were re-numbered for Xe 232 01 and Xe 272 01. The four motor units reach a maximum speed of 65 km/h.

Starting in 1971, the Rhaetian Railway RhB procured four three-car Be 4/4 electric multiple units, primarily for suburban traffic in Chur. At the time, the four-motor push-pull trans trains were the first traction vehicles in Switzerland to have thyristor control. The 784 kW strong reached a top speed of 90 km/h. In addition to an electro-pneumatic air brake, the three-part vehicles also decelerated with the electric regenerative brake. In 1979, the RhB ordered two more, largely identical more…

RhB ABe 4/4 II 41-49  LokSound V4.0 & LokPilot V4.0 for Factory Equipped Locomotives N XL L M4

Since nearly 50 years Swiss narrow gauged Rhaetian Railway (RhB) uses their four axle electric railcars ABe 4/4 II. Four traction motors deliver 940 HP and enables the railcars to reach a maximum speed of 65 km/h. Four of the nine cars are still in use, two of them can be seen daily with nearly any kind of train.

Starting in 1904, the Montreux-Berner Oberland-Bahn (MOB) purchased fourteen four-axle electric railcars from SIG, which were intended for use on the two newly opened routes Montbovon - Château-d'Oex - Gstaad and Gstaad - Zweisimmen. The meter-gauge railcars developed 192 kW and reached a top speed of 45 km/h, which was later increased to 50 km/h. In the course of their long service life, often only some of the vehicles were subjected to various conversions. For example, four vehicles received more…

RhB ABe 8/12  LokSound V4.0 & LokPilot V4.0 for Factory Equipped Locomotives N XL L M4

In 2010, a new era started with the year´s summer timetable among RhB´s rolling stock: the first 15 copies of the three-part “Allegra” dual-voltage railcars, ordered from Stadler, replaced some of the locomotives which had seen better days.
The powerful and air-conditioned ABe 4/8 3501-3515 can be either used on the main line´s AC system or the DC-powered “Bernina” line.
With further procurements, the operational concept of locomotive-drawn trains has changed with the exception of the Albula more…

SBB RABe 511  LokSound V4.0 & LokPilot V4.0 for Factory Equipped Locomotives N XL L M4

For regional service with short stop distance Swiss SBB ordered 74 electric railcars KISS in 2012. Also German ODEG und Westfalenbahn, Luxemburg CFL, Swiss BLS and Austrian Westbahn ordered trains. The trains consist out of three (CFL), four (ODEG, SBB, BLS), or six (SBB, Westbahn) cars and reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h (Westbahn 200 km/h).

E32 / BR 132  LokSound 5 factory equipped sounds N XL L M4

In 1924 German Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft DRG received the first sample of side rod equipped electric loco E32. The 29 locos developed 1170 kW and reached a maximum speed of 75 km/h. In the 1930s eight locos were re-geared for a maximum speed of 90 km/h. In 1971 the last remaining locos quitted service at the DB.
